Christening Gowns
Thank you for considering purchasing your heirloom from me. Not only can I
sew new rompers or gowns, but I am specializing in using vintage fabrics and
trims from the baby's family to create the heirloom gown. Textiles such as fancy
dresses (i.e. a wedding dress), bed linens, even table linens can be considered for
use in totality or in part in fashioning the christening outfit.
Hope chest ensembles are priced as follows:
$150.00 for simple romper or dress, and bonnet
$225.00 for gown, slip, and bonnet
$300.00 for gown and romper
Additional accessories may be made, such as a pillow (helpful for staging the
baby for photographs, and later can be used as a ring pillow) or bib.
New ensembles are priced according to the fabric and pattern selected. I will
work with you to create an outfit specific to your family; from style, fabric,
trims, to embroidery; all can be customized to suit your taste and interests.
